With plans to travel to Paris in the next year, I wore out a favorite look of mine that would probably be deemed the most Parisian look in my book. Classic breton stripes, 3 color palette, red beret, clean lines and romantic stockings - what more do I need than simple and chic?

Living life in a dream world. Looking at these photos makes me forget that I'm living in California for a few seconds while I create a mental picture of walking through a paradise garden in the heart of Spain. Here I'm wearing one of my favorite vintage finds: a satin cream corset. Wanting to stray away from the common corset and tutu h&m look, I chose one of my latest purchases, this dusty rose hued Mink Pink skirt with a gorgeous side slit. Somewhere between sultry siren and a hopeless romantic.

Capitola

Vintage Mint Blazer + H&M Oxford Top + American Apparel Denim Shorts / Belt + Asos Sunglasses / Leather Brogues

I spent a few hours in Capitola, a small beach village tucked away in Santa Cruz county, yesterday with a couple friends. With its postcard-perfect strips of houses, restaurants lining up and down the street with beach views and lovely scenery, this getaway place is great for any mini excursions. My outfit even matched the pastel walls of the buildings. We stopped by the Paradise Beach Grille for lunch (amazing food!) and strolled around exploring the colorful neighborhood. Another day well spent with good food and good company.

For this year's upcoming Spring season, I can't wait to wear light angora sweaters, (more) pussybow blouses, belted (tweed) shorts and texturized skirts. Mixed in with a muted pale blue color, pressed purses and knee length tea dresses, and you've got my ideal spring rack on rotation. And as usual, I can't get enough of the muted soft color palette.

Hi Guys! Happy Valentine's day! 

First off, I want to say that although all the gushy and corny valentine card sayings and overabundance of sweets make me cringe with half disgust, half of me can't help but gush out an "Aww, how cute" to the Valentine's day shenanigans of my fellow friends and their significant others. As for my outfit, following my previous post, wearing pastel colors and floral prints honestly makes me think that Spring is closer than it feels.
